These terms apply to use of the website, quote requests and the general basis on which YAMY reviews and accepts delivery work. They are intended to support clear commercial communication, but a specific job may still be subject to additional written details agreed at quote or booking stage.
Content on this site is provided for general information and enquiry purposes only. Service descriptions, vehicle guides, area coverage and examples of support do not create a binding offer. YAMY may update the site, service wording or availability without notice.
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry, including route details, item description, access conditions, urgency, vehicle requirements, timing and any special handling needs. A quote may be revised if the supplied details are inaccurate, incomplete or later change.
A booking is treated as confirmed only when YAMY accepts the job and confirms that the service can be provided. Customers must give accurate collection, delivery and load information, make sure goods are lawfully transportable, and ensure items are appropriately packaged unless otherwise agreed.
Prices and timings may be affected by restricted access, failed collection or delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, inaccurate load details, extra waiting time, manual handling issues, additional stops or other operational delays outside the original scope. Extra charges may apply where extra time, distance or vehicle allocation is required.
If a booking is changed or cancelled after acceptance, additional charges may apply depending on how much planning, dispatch time or vehicle allocation has already taken place. If timing, load details or route requirements change materially, YAMY may need to revise the quote or availability.
Certain goods may be restricted, unsuitable or require special handling, permits or written agreement before transport. This can include dangerous or hazardous goods, illegal items, cash, controlled substances, live animals, temperature-controlled items, unusually fragile goods and higher-value specialist loads.
Liability, packaging responsibilities and any insurance position should be confirmed as part of the booking process, especially for higher-value, fragile or specialist loads. Customers should declare anything that needs special protection or handling before the job is accepted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Payment timing, invoicing arrangements and any credit terms are confirmed at quote or booking stage unless separate written commercial terms apply. For repeat work or larger ongoing arrangements, YAMY may agree additional written terms covering invoicing, dispute handling and service expectations.
Any complaint or issue should be raised as soon as reasonably possible so it can be reviewed properly. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these terms and any dispute connected with the website or bookings are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
